Fergus McIver becomes the 10th death of the 2011 Jumps Racing Season, falling in the first race of the day and slowly dying in front of the Grand Stand.
'Juan Carlos' and 'Pay The Aces' fell in Grand National Steeplechase, with 'Petushki' throwing his rider on the final jump.
Despite 'Fergus McIver' becoming the 10th fatality of the season, Racing Victoria continue to label these deaths as 'accidents'.
