Immy lost his mate, Rune, back in September. At the time, they were raising 4 chicks together with the youngest being just 24hrs old when Rune passed. I helped co-parent so the chicks would have the best chance since it's uncommon for male parrots to raise chicks solo. However, since that moment, he's shown so much interest in wanting to be a birb dad that he will invariably take over feeding any baby bird that comes into the house.
