Shao-Lin’s Road Video Game

In Shao-Lin’s Road, available for play on an Arcade Classics machine, gamers play as main character and martial arts expert Wanpyou. Your objective? Escape entrapment from the Jaken Temple and seek revenge on the enemy Yamucha Gang, who has recently assassinated Wanpyou’s master. Players can seek revenge and advance levels by exercising various kicks upon enemies while avoiding being knocked out themselves. In addition to your main kick weapon, rely on the iron ball and boomerang power-ups to take out enemies more quickly. After a number of rounds, one of the games five bosses may appear whom Wanpyou will engage in major fights. After four enemy attacks, Wanpyou loses a life. The Shao-Lin’s road video game was released by Konami in 1985.
