This cluster will explore the opportunities manifested through the use of hybrid materials, specifically magnetically-sensitive plastic. A method of design will be explored that uses natural forces as a parameter to alter a material that magnifies direct cues from its environment to create form. With this material, a simple digital geometry can interact with a magnetic force to create rich, dynamic, and uncertain material forms.
